Alphasoars Checkpoint: The Entrepreneur II

Alphasoars Checkpoint: The Entrepreneur II
Last time on Alphasoars checkpoint we examined who an entrepreneur is and also get to know what entrepreneurship entails.
And so today having gone through those points I will be taking you through some basic characteristics or skills that an entrepreneur need to possess.
a.      Fast Thinker. Any person that wishes to go into the way of entrepreneurship must be a person who thinks faster than what he sees around his immediate environment. If this skill is developed it makes his to discover available opportunities and ways of taking it up.
b.      Focus. He is one that does not lack vision. He pursues a set goal.
c.       Risk Management. He manages risk and calculates its effects on his prospective ventures. Going through this, you understand that an entrepreneur involves going into business to yield profit. That is what entrepreneurship entails.

Alphasoars Checkpoint: The Entrepreneur I

Alphasoars Checkpoint: The Entrepreneur I
Alphasoars checkpoint provides a platform for those who love this blog to check on what’s new. It is a discussion segment of this blog in which salient issues will be brought forward and you get this by constantly checking this blog as they are daily, weekly and even monthly blogged.
On the topic today is entrepreneur. Firstly what I want to bring to your view is the never mined prospects of entrepreneurship. Let’s first get to know who an entrepreneur is. So let’s scratch the ground. An entrepreneur is one who envisions success through scarcely available opportunities. He is one that creates – bring up new ideas. He lays hand on a material and transforms it into different finished useful products. Now, the process of conceiving, nurturing and bringing a vision to life is known as entrepreneurship. With the above explanation, you understand that entrepreneurship is a process of moving an insignificant setup to a great height.

Build A Connector Now!

It’s easy to find people out there struggling with coping with their environment and society at large. Well, the reason for this is not farfetched. Let’s get going then. What are the reasons then, someone is asking me! Yes, firstly, we could say inability to manage ones circumstance. We can as well say when people get tired of trying to “fit in”. Lack of etiquettes might as well hinder individuals from getting the best from their society. Let’s see if we can understand this more better this way. I once witnessed a generator set still steaming when the spark plug head wire had moved out (not touching the head of the plug) and all of a sudden a scream was heard from the back. For what – electric shock? Generator set on fire? My friend, none of the above questions was reason for the cry. The cry was only made by an individual who saw the situation and felt ‘this generator set might be on fire at any moment now’. Well his fear was abated as the situation was finally resolved. Now let’s relate this to our subject. The inability of an individual to adequately communicate (connect like the plug wire) with the society might raise an alarm that might cause a big harm. This situation is found when people try to get to know people not to develop a good relationship with them but just to get something they might need from them thereby engaging in relationships based on shadows. Why do you scream out when it seems the world is turning against you? Build a connector now and make it fast. Maintain a good relationship with people and don’t just hang around people, just like the relationship that exist between a shark and a remora or that of ferns and the palm tree. When Joseph Newton made the statement “people are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges”, he was not trying to bargain an idea with you, and he was only pushing out a point. Build a bridge and link yourself to generous information or build a wall and keep yourself from the great investment and opportunities, maybe on yourself or others.

World projections for 2014 (II)

World projections for 2014 (II)
Mobile giants Apple and Samsung have revealed that 2014 will be a great year for them. Nobody will expect the less from these manufacturers though. Firstly, their modifications or improvement of mobile devices are seen on daily basis to gain the market advantage.
My country is one of the best markets for these companies as the people competes daily on who gets the latest. Nothing reigns for a year in this country. Most of these products grow quarterly and then upgraded to a newer version. Then tell me why these groups won’t copy some things. Between 2011 and 2013, we have heard many suits between Samsung and Apple. April 2011, we saw Apple suing Samsung. Why? The reasons are not farfetched as we searched through and observe the whole process. They said that Samsung’s line of galaxy mobile phones and tablets were copied from them. Samsung was fined about a billion dollars. Samsung later again sued apple. Granting an interview, their (Samsung) reply was, “we have little choice but to take the steps necessary to protect our innovations and intellectual property rights”.
That’s past tense though!
2014, they said will be a great year for them as they project smooth markets. Firstly, partnering with INVENTEC, Apple has decided to ship about 63 to 65 million Iwatch units in 2014 priced at about $199. Then the much awaited Samsung galaxy S5 is slated to launch January 2014.
We wait to see more!
