Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Gen 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

The above excerpts were culled from the Holy Bible. It’s all in the First Book and on the first chapter. Am gonna talk about something that we, Alphasoars must take cognizance of as we ride on the clouds to take our place in the skies. It’s about perseverance, purpose and pursuit.

Many of us would like to attain greater heights in the next 24 hours, if really it could be possible. Really, success is good having my good friends. How do you attain this success, how do you surpass those of your mates who claim to be on the same ride with you.

It is by persevering. Taking the creator of the heaven and earth for our key study now, you will understand that his creations even in his infiniteness and almightiness, he never created the world in one day. It took him six good days to do this. But then, he stayed on it not minding what it will take, knowing fully well what was in His mind – creating a heaven on earth.

The Secret of Effective Prayer

Yes! Another interesting point to note as an Alphasoar. We have previously discussed on important issues that really needed to be addressed as we soar high into the year and also remain on course – soaring to greater heights. We will discuss prayer in this post.Prayer is the act of communicating with God. A moment of talking with God on issues that bother us and on plans that we want to take. Many people see prayer as last option when all other routes taken fail. But no, prayer should be among the plans that we make every day.As we make plans to achieve one thing or the other, practical effort should be made to back it up with prayer.The Practice.The practice of praying had been in existence since time immemorial and has continued to be the only way we can talk effectively to God about our lives. In the Bible, God asked His people to always seek him in everything they do. God has never said he was weary of prayers in this twenty first century; he is still in charge of the happenings in the universe. Has it not amazed you that somebody here is giving birth to a child in Nigeria and at the same time somebody is getting his miracle of healing in Ghana. God is not tired of interruptions, so therefore interrupt him today.The Pattern.Many individuals have resulted to prayer on the last minute and never get a response. This is because the act of communicating with God should be done with a free mind and not with a sorrowful heart. You can look back in your life or ask someone when he got answers to his prayers and you will realize that it had always been when you are on a settled mind, when your spirit is free. On another note, people pray with fear and doubt if God will actually hear and answer their prayers. The result of this is that the individual resorts to praying based on ritual meaningless words.I want to remind you that if you have not put God in that resolutions you made this year, there is need to go back and have a restructure on it. Because my friends and fellow soars, without communicating with God on those issues you would have made those resolutions in vain. There is need for you to pray to God; do prayers when your spirit is free and expect answers.The Purpose.The purpose why you must pray is that you cannot determine your tomorrow despite your projections, therefore there is need to involve God. God is greater than you in all aspect, he is omnipotent and omniscience. The Power.I talked to you about your subconscious mind in this post and how you can work with it to the achievement of greater heights. To disclose the power of prayer, this is what Napoleon Hill wrote after many years of research on how to be successful in life, “The subconscious mind is the intermediary, which translates one’s prayers into terms which Infinite Intelligence can recognize, presents the message, and bring back the answer in the form of definite plan or ideas for procuring the objects of the prayer. Understand this principle, and you will know why mere words read from a prayer book cannot, and will never serve as an agency of communication between the mind of man and Infinite Intelligence.”The subconscious mind here is talking about the state of your mind and the Infinite Intelligence is talking about the one we pray to God. Alphasoars Checkpoint: Mind Stimuli

How has the soaring gone Alphasoars? Today, on our checkpoint section we are going to talk about something interesting, Always Motivating, Also Enlightening, All sides, All views and All yours.

Where do you get inspiration? What motivates you do what you do?  Where do you get that spur, that burning desire? Today, I shall with my small mind list five things that I have observed that give people the stimuli they need to succeed.

The five of things I think could spur people to greater heights hereinafter called mind stimuli include; Love, Music, Mutual Suffering and Friendship, Alcohol and Fear. The first three are positives while the last two are destructive but as I watched down the history of achievements looking at the lives of people that did exploits on their fields I realize that some did their best when under the influence of Alcohol or Fear.

However, before I go any further I want you to know that the negative effect of Alcohol and Fear in the life of an achiever is much in relative to its positive effect. Therefore I would still not recommend both to you as mind stimuli. I wrote a post on drugs and its effects on this section Here!!!

So the question is how it happens that the aforementioned can stimulate you. Many people if asked where they wanted to be, the reply would always be ‘the top’. They have that dream of getting to a great height, but looking at them critically, they have no motivation to succeed. Love motivates in a great way. When you look at the lives of people that succeed in life, you are going to by no doubt find out that they were motivated to success by the love showered on them by their parents, their friends or their mentors.
