The Only Place to Find God

All Hail Alphasoars . . .

Where is that place we can find God? Because it seems many people are having a difficult time locating it. Let us ride to see if we can get there - God willing. Shall we?

The only place to find God is not in your local church, your pastor books or even your religion. It is in a place much higher and greater than the Bible you read. So many people read the Bible, the get inspired from it and inadvertently commit themselves to the guidelines listed therein.
The Bible is 'too common' and therefore could be used by all and sundry. Whoever gets to a bookshop and demands for a bible will not be denied one because he is not a church goer or put 'properly' 'a Christian'.

The Bible reveals the way - The Word. It is through the Word that we find God. But where exactly do we find God? It is a question we can answer by carefully asking ourselves "Do I know God". Like Paul the Apostle, His main aim was knowing Jesus and not finding him because it is by the knowing that we could then Find Him.
Simply put, I want to meet someone I have not met before. I would need a clear description of whom and how that person is because by that when I come across him or her, I won't just pass by without knowing.

So the Bible, the Church is kind of a road map that guides you to God. But someone is asking me the difference between knowing him and Finding God.

1. Knowing God is like the first step a baby takes before finally he can stand strong and walk. It is the first step that should be taken by anyone who wants to find God. It helps you know God when you finally meet him.

2. Knowing God will help you initiate the ultimate step of drawing closer to God.

3. It sets you on the part of believing, because Romans 10:13 says, whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Now the next verse asks you a question, "How then can they call on the One they have not believed in".

4. Knowing him will make you bold whenever you start the journey of Finding Him. You will not look back on the ground because you are looking for your #5 that feel off from you in the night and someone asks you, "what are you looking for" and you boldly say, "#5". Huhh, just Five Naira and you want to turn the whole place upside down. But when it is like, #1000, you will be bold to stoop down and search very well.

When you know God, his might, his power, his grace, his wonders, his love, his matchless grace, his infinite mercies, you won't feel ashamed when you look for Him. You can boldly say, "I am looking for my Big Big God".

The art of Finding God is the same as believing. You may know him but may not believe in Him. To find God is all easy when you have known him. But first stop trying to find God because it is all fruitless effort. The next step is synonymous to finding Him, which is having a personal relationship with him through his son.

Don't go to church to find God. Go to church to know him. You can have a fruitless, saddening and unpleasant walk on this earth if all you do daily is trying to find God without knowing him. Finding him is all about believing in him that he exists and that he can do all things. Do you know why it is so? I will tell you.
It is because finding God is not a physical something, it is neither emotional. It is a soul-spiritual thing. Read with me finally in Deuteronomy 4:29, "... Seek the Lord your God, you shall find him, If you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul".

But it is also a fun filled adventure when you know him and believe in him, "Then he said to them, 'Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the Joy of The Lord is your Strength". That is found in Nehemiah 8:10.

Know God today.

Happy soaring!!!
