Mentored? The Messi Experience

I have watched Messi play football and his quick moves with the round leather ball always gives me goosebumps. Some players of the game of football that I have admired while growing up have been those whose pattern of play have always been mixed or infused with a lot of entertainment.

The Nigeria football team offered me such taste always whenever they played. Hol'up my dear, am not talking about the current team o. Am talking about the team that had players like, Austin Okocha, Nwankwo Kanu, Joseph Yobo, Taiye Taiwo, a good no nonsense defender.

Like the folktales we hear at night under the moonlight, is the game of football whenever there is a national or international competition and we have to gather together at the community viewing center to enjoy massive entertainment under the names I have mentioned earlier.

We grew up watching European teams play and of course, there are names that offer all that football embodies. Manchester United and Chelsea have always been the reigning team around the community where I grow up. You will not believe that this two teams where dubbed some cult like attributes in the community where rivals fight each other when the match result do not go their way.

The first school bag  I had bought that had a football club's logo on it had a club logo that wasn't popular in my town. And to tell you that I have not known much about this club, I have to start doing researches as to who they were but I was satisfied that I am starting with a club that is not associated with nuisance and agbero-like behavior in the district. I found out that one of the key players in this my new found club was a great playmaker, his entertainment in the game is top notch. I got hooked and oh, I have found a new home.

This player as I later found out will go on to win the prestigious France football award - the Ballon d'Or seven times. I discovered what I crave in football in Lionel Messi. The dance he makes with his left foot is what I wanted in any football player and he does this in an effortless manner.

He made a shocking switch to Paris last two seasons and has continued to make an incredible impact in creating goals in an entertaining way. In comes Mbappe. A great talent already in the team when Messi came into the club. My piece today is centered on the relationship that has emerged from this gathering of talents while not forgetting Neymar Jnr. This post is about what I perceived from the dressing room and may not be factual since I do not have a first hand info into activities there.

It has seemed that Mbappe has not stopped complaining. has done this almost always as he has seemed to be that outspoken on in the team. However, I tend to wonder if the Messi experience has ever robbed of on him at all. As one who is currently sandwiched between two great players in Messi and Neymar always always the one coming up with negative vibes about the club or players with every little disagreement. I am one who thinks that having to be around men that have traversed the road you are trying to ply will give you a fair advantage.

This position is borne out of the fact that Messi in that position having nothing to prove again to the system will be serving as a enabler to Mbappe rather than a competition. And so one would wonder why this seems not to be happening. People have said that if one needs to make progress in their chosen field that their is need to find a mentor and stay teachable. It is true. Experience is the greatest teacher they said. And one need to understand that it is never said that the experience must be personal. It is wise to gather experience from others, it shows you are pragmatic and will always be one step ahead in the game.

In every setting, there are leaders who have navigated the rough waters of their field and their wisdom borne out of their personal experience will be a shining light in dark places to those coming behind. Been able to gather these experiences will also depend on your willingness to learn. You will do this when you unlearn that experiences has to be personal and subject your thoughts to that higher school of thought that experiences must not be personal.

What do you think?

Listen, Always Listen

 #AlphasoarsChief writes,

Having lived a couple of years, I can confirm to you that you 'only' live by the amount of information you have been able to garner to yourself.
This is that part where one need to understand that living by personal experiences is inconsequential, time consuming and foolish. This is so when there abound a trillion information birthed on the experiences of others that can help you sail through the waves that tries to obstruct your progress on the sea of life.
Always Listen to learn, not always to respond. You can always have opinion about issues but sometimes when your contribution is not consequential to decision making at the moment, please pause, sit back and take a moment and look at the opinion you wanted to throw out, weighing it with the already served opinions from others and see if yours will bring light or more darkness to the matter discussed.
Always listen, tomorrow's choices depend on your attentiveness today.
In a certain dilemma once and had to talk to a former colleague and he gave me a two sentence advice. I understood his stand point but the application of what he said to my present predicament doesn't seem to add up. Not until some months after, I had to refer to his advice and smile.
Always listen to live. People have gone through the journey you are embarking on, they can help you make progress, just ask them 'HOW'.

Happy Soaring!

Chicken Republic sacks two security guards - True test of Advanced Personnel Management

Some weeks back in Nigeria, there was a wide spread discussion on on various of it's social media platforms especially on twitter. It is a case involving two security guards at Chicken Republic, a fast food company with locations across the country. A video surfaced online where two of the guards were seen dancing. The development seems to have triggered a negative reaction from the franchise and it was learnt that appointment of the two young adults were immediately terminated.

It cause an uproar as some condemned the company for taking such decision. They termed it rash and insensitive. On the other hand, some persons argue
d for the company, condemning the action of the two guards who they mostly termed careless and rude who have disrespected their job roles and their employee.

While certain narratives will mostly suit well for anyone who takes side in any side of the discourse. For me, I will think this situation exposes the personnel management issues Nigeria's public and private sector is currently experiencing. A very bad omen where an employee of a company will be relieved of his duties, not for outright and flagrant abuse of office but for a genuine invention that helps the business outlook.

One may not understand if there were laws made in the institutions I just talked about where it was specified that an employee cannot dance around in whatever form in and around the premises. It will be absurd if such laws actually existed in such an organization where entertainment is key factor in customer's patronage. Because their acts which might or might not be harmful, depending on what angle you look at it from, has the ability to change the mood of buyers and patronage for the given day.

This post is not for or against the institution. But one seeking to tell institutions to intentionally encourage employees to employ whatever means necessary that conforms to the type of business environment they are in, that will only invite more investors and patronage. Employees should not be made to live their lives on a straight line kind of job routine without inventing or contributing ideas for the organizational growth.

Captains of industries as well should encourage their workforce by looking at ideas that they bring, without tossing them aside almost immediately. Employees should be made to take part in the business. People always have a sense of belonging only when their contributions are appreciated. This people are not just the key policy makers but also include the other workers who their job descriptions might seem less important and irrelevant.

Happy soaring.

Four Important things Every Woman Wants In a Relationship

There are certain things peculiar to a group of persons. They engage in those things to seek entertainment, company and fulfillment. Children always want music, sing them lullaby and they'll crawl unto their beds and sleep fine. As with the children, so other group of people have things that give them peace of mind and satisfaction.

I want to briefly talk about four important things that woman always want and which many men neglect. In our age today, women tend to hide the fragility nature in them as they try to lay claim to the notion that they are equal to the men.

Given the above, one of the things every woman want from her man is the opportunity to express herself in every circumstance. Women no longer want to be boxed into corners where they will be assigned some inferior tasks. They want to feel their environment listening to them and taking instructions from them. So every man that want to make her woman happy has to give her that opportunity to be expressive wherever and whenever the opportunity calls. Don't try to send her to the room because you think their are important matters you need to discuss and which you think her opinion won't be needed.

Another thing she want from you is the ability to read you. Some female folks think some men intentionally make themselves difficult to understand. No, she want to be able to say "I know what my man wants". She will like to brag to friends that she knows her man in-and-out. Don't be too secretive in your finances and your spending.

The third thing she want from you is that you intentionally share responsibility. These responsibilities encompasses those things tagged women's work. Don't entirely neglect the kitchen department for her. Go to the kitchen as often as possible. Do the laundry without her asking at least once every week. When it comes to chores around the house, don't push them to her, do them as often as you can.

Finally, her emotional need must be paramount to you. In all the responsibilities you undertake, don't forget to always take care of her emotional needs. Compliment her often. Don't forget the names you were calling her when you were wooing her all of a sudden because she has finally agreed to date you. Buy her gift especially gift that are conspicuous that she can show off to her female friends at the slightest opportunities. Kiss her forehead!

Apprenticeship and the Art of Sales

In Nigeria, you don't start talking about apprenticeship and forget mentioning the indigenous tribe of the eastern region, the Igbo. The Igbo trade and apprenticeship system has lasted for decades. It entails serving someone, a master, for some period of years after which the person gets settled - paid off.

The years one can serve ranges from five to nine years. It involves rigorous involvement in a particular merchandise or trade fro those number of years. The enrollee, the servant, is trained to know the in and out of what the business entails. He is also taught purchases, of which may involve, importation of goods from other countries.

The most striking thing about this system of training is the send off ceremony and entitlement. At the end of the training period, the servant having satisfied all training processes is then awarded, not limited to, some amount of money for startup. He also gets to take charge of an fully equipped shade/stall/warehouse, these are courtesy of the master.

At this juncture, the servant becomes a master with his own business and business name. Then come the issue of sales.

At his former master's business sales might not necessarily be cumbersome as he is coming to an established business with customers already patronizing the place. He mostly learns how to sale and engage customers. But on his part now, having a new business, he is to learn how to get customers, keep customers and sale to them.

It becomes a lot easier if contacts are made when he was with his former boss, he can easily get some of them, who have trusted his sale expertise to patronize his new establishment. Two things could be highlighted that could make sales a lot easier

Three Remarkable Things That Happened This Week - RUNTOWN, NGOZI OKONJO IWEALA & CARPE DIEM

 >>> #EndSARS Protest. As you may have heard or seen, if you are a social media regular, the issues surrounding FSARS and the clamour for their scrapping by the Nigerian Youths. Allegations are that the outfit has become the Social and Economic crime watch of the force instead of their listed responsibilities. They stop and search vehicles, phones and laptop especially youths that dress good and maybe drive a Benz.

Popular good governance advocate, a legal luminary, Mr. Awosanya (Segalink) has on several occasions called for the reformation of the police force and particularly the tactical units. With his introduction of the #EndSars hashtags on twitter which has trended for some times now.

However, recent developments around the country has suggested that the call for the disbandment of the unit, SARS, has not been taken serious by the authorities as there has been widespread evidences of SARS brutality with videos of this harassment surfacing on daily basis on social media. To press this issues, protest has been called and called-off almost immediately as authorities has suggested to organizers.

On 8th of this month, after deliberations and dialogues, the music star, Runtown (@iRuntown) took to the streets in company of his colleagues in the industry, Folarin FALZTHEBAHDGUY, Paul RUDEOY of defunct PSQUARE in protest as they demand for the scrapping of SARS. They have vowed to continue until they are heard.

Runtown has stood out for this feat after two celebrities have cancelled their own protests previously - 2BABA and NAIRAMARLEY. He is seeing as a champ for successfully pulling youths out on the streets to protest.

Twitter people still dey debate whether na Burna boy or Runtown be the new Fela ANIKULAPO Kuti 😏

Don't Wear A Mask AGAIN!!

Hello people, it has been a very long while we published new thoughts here. There are no excuses as to why that is but we are coming back in greater measure to dish out great contents.

Nigeria has witnessed its own share of the damaging effect of the coronavirus pandemic. Coronavirus has really hurt the world so much that it has bled on almost all side - economic, social and every other areas you could think of.

Getting out of the mess of this pandemic will require serious and planned recovery process. As you think about the government of your country in this regards, you should not also forget that you have a role to play. Personally you should also have your own thought out plans to stand strong as restrictions are relaxed in many countries and business activities resuming.

One of the many ways of reducing the risk of contracting the virus has been to wear mask. Many persons has found the act a tedious, tiring and stressful one. But sometimes when things happen like this, think about other benefits you could drive from what is happening. If you live in Nigeria and the southern part of the country - the Niger Delta areas of Rivers state, Delta state, Bayelsa and Akwa Ibom states, you need to appreciate the fact that you have worn nose mask for seven months and counting.

Doing this (wearing of mask) has actually reduced your chances by a reasonable percentage of suffering a carbon, cancer related illness. This is because gas flaring that has been a thing of discuss for the past few years has not seen a breakthrough. Multi nationals and indigenous oil companies that operate in the region are still flaring gases into the atmosphere.

If you have been in the city of Port Harcourt for the past few months, you would have been abreast of the recent resurfacing of black soot in the city.

The Only Two Kinds of Customers a Salesman Will Ever Meet

Hy everyone. We are almost at the end of the middle month, June. You have of a truth gone through one or two things within this period and I believe they have helped you get a little closer to your dreams.
Today I just want to do a quick post about the Salesman. A salesman sells services and/or goods/products. He expects to make some huge profits. At the center of selling goods and services, lies a man that has the success and downfall of a salesman at his fingertips. The happiness of a salesman almost depends on him but his continuous happiness will depend on how he (Salesman) treats him. He is called The Customer.

Today I just want to reveal to every salesman, in our language, every businessman, the two kinds of customers that grace your outfit for your product or services. The thing is most people do not give a closer attention to the kind of persons that patronize their businesses. They are always concerned about the returns they get. This set of individuals is not bothered about the utmost satisfaction of their customers. They feel they don't owe the customer more than the goods or services they are going to render to them.
This is why many businesses fail, because care and attention is not giving to ascertain and give the required attention to the different kinds of customers they receive on daily basis. Without wasting any much time, I will discuss the two kinds of customers below.

The Loyal Customers
These sets of customers have tested your goods and services and can attest to your credibility and efficiency in your services delivery. They come once and feel like you are the best in the whole world and so, they keep coming all the times. First, you need to understand that these kinds of customers are hard to come by. Basically, they are ones that have used your services not once or twice but many times and can avouched to the goodness of your deliveries.

These sets of customers are gotten by constant assurance and good marketing skill. They approached your service outlet for the first time and with your great customer approach you woo them into 'first service purchase'. You make your offer as mouth watering as you can and try your best to deliver to the latter all you've convinced them to believe (Even when you know you might not keep to the standard for ever). Change can happen! It isn't bad for a latter time.

When you have made good your offers, they are forced to stick to purchasing your service and might become a good agent of referral for your business. They stick with your service as long as you keep giving them a quality service. They are loyal!

The Nameless Woman at the Well

All hail Alphasoars . . .

How is the year going abi running at your end? Just yesterday we celebrated the New Year and now we are celebrating the end of January. For those on a white collar jobs, it is always a pleasure to see the 28 day of every month. It brings smilesssss, Hahahah. I know many people can relate very well.

A tired Jesus needed to rest. He has need for food - He is hungry and thirsty. The almost helpless disciples have abandoned him without a company to fetch victuals. He is sitting weary at his great-grand-father's well, anticipating a miracle to himself (Someone to give him water from the well), that's going to be a life saving miracle too.

Someone is already asking me if Jesus actually needed the water to keep fit, have strength, can't he just command supernatural strength?
Well, I don't have your answers yet, let's concentrate!

And within minutes of anticipation, his much needed energy giving food arrives; a soul to feed his thirsty heart for man's eternal salvation. He cannot wait but to grasp this opportunity. He already knew what women want; "Tell me something new and hidden" is always a curiosity spirit that must be satisfied is you want to get to a woman's heart. (Did I reveal a secret?).

Lord Help!!! Our Churches Run the Highest Cabal in the World!

If you hear me mention half the name of your church as you read on, then you can complete the rest for me, otherwise, no church is in focus as I hit the keys on my keyboard. Just what every other person has noticed but might not want to say, write or query. And that might be because of lack of opportunity to express such views or the criticism it might bring.

The church as I had always known is basically culled from a Greek word which means called out or called out ones. In essence, it has no physical attribution to things such as buildings. But for the smooth gathering of the called out people for "Fellowship", "Braking of Bread" and "Prayers", there has been need for physical place of gathering.

In a sense, you are not been called out from where you were to start loafing about, no. There is a place that the most High has put his name and there, you must gather to receive commands on your lines of action.

After Christ left earth, the disciples decided to build themselves another country, a separated place where they will just stay and hide from what is going on in the world. The people that have lands, quickly sold the lands, those that have occultist materials burnt them. They brought all they have to the place of gathering and 'laid' what they've brought before the Apostles feet. From here, foods were bought and was cooked, served equally. Dedicated men were set aside for this mission of whom Stephen was among.

Later, they were found wanting. They have left preaching and were serving tables. Persecution came, they were dispersed. Every man preached where he found himself.
First lesson, they were not meant to acquire any form of colony for themselves to live in since they are not to just stay at a particular place.

At the mount of transfiguration, Jesus took three men with him and these were from the inner circle. After the incident that shook them, Peter made a statement, "Master, it is good for us to be here" (In his heart, he has alienated the other nine. Maybe to him, they weren't holy enough since Jesus didn't bother bringing them to witness his transfiguration), "... Let us make three tabernacles here, (He was already trying to settle at the mount without the others) one for you, one for Moses and the other for Elijah". The Master never consented since that wasn’t in the plans.

We are having a real issue in our churches today. Firstly, it is a matter of doctrine. Everyone thinks he is the right man, speaking directly the mind of God. He might decide to focus on whatsoever theme he pleases. Be it Prosperity, Righteousness, Holiness, Heaven, love or whatever he believes is his 'calling'. But maybe that's not the issue here. What's the issue then?

Our churches today have alienated themselves from the world in every sense. They have gone back to 'before the persecution'.
They build cathedrals; people sell their land or give it up to 'churches', sell their cars and bring in the money to the church.
They are 'inside the churches now' (staying), braking bread daily, they are having internal fellowships daily, they are having prayers daily. Is that not what happened before the persecution came and they were all scattered?

In our beloved country, time is coming and every denomination is going to be a country of its own. How do I mean?
They have their own 'named cathedrals', they have their own schools and hospitals, they have their own transport systems, their markets and economics systems are streamlined to suit their members and none members find them uncomfortable, they won't have any option than to back off. Are Christians of the twenty first century not calling for another round of persecution?

His Rod and His Staff!

All hail Alphasoars . . .

Happy New Year everyone!! I am so excited we finally made it into the New Year. 2017 was a graciously year too but it can't be brighter than a future that we have assurance from God that it will be greater.
Welcome once again to 2018. We are praying for long life, health and wealth with all the goodies of life that we couldn't get last year. All the plans that never came through; all the aspirations that never had a 100% fulfillment; all unborn pregnant ideas and inspiration that never manifested, this is the year to bring all to pass.

From the Bible in Psalms 23, the psalmist was praying and assuring himself of a gracious journey ahead, no matter what happens, he will always be resting under the able care of the strongest and mightiest of shepherds - The Lord of Host.
In assuring himself, there is something he made mention of in verse 4. He mentions two important things which are Rod and Staff.
He realized that as he moves on in the line of grace and God'swill, he will need to be guided and corrected.

8 Ways to Live Better Than Yesterday

All Hail Alphasoars . . .

Happy new week to you. Hope you had a great weekend and set for another week of activeness and achievement. The month as well ends tomorrow and ushering us into November, the second to the last month.
I wish everyone a flavoured, favoured and fruitful week and happy new month in advance.

Today, I shall within three minutes look at 8 ways one can live a life that is better than what we had yesterday. The views expressed are practical, quit engaging and also simple to indulge in. Every one of us has had some bad days in the past. Maybe yesterday or some other days gone by, but waking up doing the same thing you did then will not make you any better. To get better, you avoid certain things and imbibe certain also.

Let's get to it, Shall we?

Read a good and motivating book
They have always said, information hidden from Africans are be found in a book. I think that saying is true because most of us don't have time to open the covers of any written materials. We are always in a hurry to break new grounds but the needed information to do that, we don't have. We rely on a piece of advice we receive from our immediate friends and close associates.
But alas, if yesterday wasn't fruitful as you had wished, why don't you visit the nearest bookshop and shop some books that cut across your line of engagement and put yourself through and stop relying on half-baked information from 'quacks'.
Whatever you are trying to venture in today has already been tried by someone else somewhere and some of these people that have tried it have made themselves generous by putting down their experiences on the pages of a book so you too won't make any mistakes. So today, to make the best of it, find a good and motivating book and read through.

Thank You and Happy Birthday Google!

All hail Alphasoars . . .

Howdy all? We are having crises in Puerto Rico and other parts of the United States because of Hurricane devastation in those places. Our prayers are with those who lost fortune, properties and even lost ones. It will come to pass and blessings to those who have donated materially and financially for that cause and same to our people here in Nigeria that witness flooding.
2Baba foundation and other NGO are doing great work and God won't forget top reward their efforts heavily.

Today I just want to use this medium to thank Google for their gift to man and most especially me. They have helped me in a great way. They have:

1. Helped me through bloggers to air my thoughts out to the whole world without limitations whatsoever. While growing up, I used to be a 'good-introvert', always indoors. My opinion were said by me, for me and to me inside my room. But now I can come out to blogger and send them out for the general public's consumption.

2. Elevated my bored life in some sense to that of a busy person. Being bored because of lack of what to do is no longer in existence in my life since blogger will always give me something to do. Lols.

3. Helped me in learning how to write. I know my write ups now are not the same as the ones I wrote earlier on this BLOG. So the learning process has been fruitful, lols.

Special shout outs to Mr. Larry and Mr. Sergey for this wonderful platform. I wrote about them earlier on this blog some years back. You can check it out 'Partnership and Relationships'

And today Google is Nineteen Years old. So, in all I and other Alphasoars here, are wishing Google a happy birthday. They kicked their celebration with the Doodle's Google surprise birthday spinner game. Go check it out on their website.

Thank you and Happy birthday to Google.

The Importance of Water

All hail Alphasoars . . .

We shall highlight a few but most profound importance of water we have found. The importance of water cannot be over emphasized. The importance of water is what has made it a general commodity with a bold tag - No Man's Enemy.

In some few countries, good and clean water has not been at the reach of most person because of its scarcity. This could be caused by natural phenomenom or man made environmental pollution. In those places or countries, they drink whatever liquid they could find and at such risk shortening their life span as they invite disease causing organisms into their bodies.
Good and clean water is one which has no taste, has no colour and it’s free of whatever form of contamination. Humans through scientific research have been advised to take larger quantity of water on daily basis. Three areas we have found water useful is what we shall be discussing shortly.

The Only Place to Find God

All Hail Alphasoars . . .

Where is that place we can find God? Because it seems many people are having a difficult time locating it. Let us ride to see if we can get there - God willing. Shall we?

The only place to find God is not in your local church, your pastor books or even your religion. It is in a place much higher and greater than the Bible you read. So many people read the Bible, the get inspired from it and inadvertently commit themselves to the guidelines listed therein.
The Bible is 'too common' and therefore could be used by all and sundry. Whoever gets to a bookshop and demands for a bible will not be denied one because he is not a church goer or put 'properly' 'a Christian'.

The Bible reveals the way - The Word. It is through the Word that we find God. But where exactly do we find God? It is a question we can answer by carefully asking ourselves "Do I know God". Like Paul the Apostle, His main aim was knowing Jesus and not finding him because it is by the knowing that we could then Find Him.
Simply put, I want to meet someone I have not met before. I would need a clear description of whom and how that person is because by that when I come across him or her, I won't just pass by without knowing.

So the Bible, the Church is kind of a road map that guides you to God. But someone is asking me the difference between knowing him and Finding God.

Three Momentous moments in My Life I Will Not Forget in a Hurry

All Hail Alphasoars . . .

Happy new week to you. Today I shall tell you three incidents that happened to me that I may not forget in a hurry.

Car fire incident

It was November 2006 we have just finished the wedding ceremony of my elder brother and were returning to base. Boarded a taxi and was on top speed. I was young and have not been involved in any accident before. I almost slept off because of tiredness but managed to stay awake.

Almost twenty minutes gone into the journey, all we could see was people waving at us to stop the car. Our taxi has caught fire burning seriously at the bonnet and we never knew.
We got to know when we started having smoke inside the car and finally had to stop the taxi. Lo and behold, the car was on fire and we never knew.
We came out, and did I mention, my mother was in the car as well as one of my elder brothers. Almost a family oh and the devil want to use us that Ember or year ending to do Christmas.
We came out safe and put out the fire, hopped into another taxi and got home safely at around some minutes after eight in the night.

8 Awkward things worshipers do!

All hail Alphasoars . . .

Steadily we will soar, no matter the economic and political brouhahas that we might be witnessing in the country at the moment.
Today I want to talk a little bit about some eight things that are awkwardly awkward to me that worshipers engage in.

Sighing before praying.
I don't know why, but it seems so awkward to me oh. Your prayer leader will just introduce a prayer topic and tell everyone to pray, immediately before the prayer, you will just hear echo of sighs everywhere. Like seriously, who are you sighing for na? The person you are praying to is he the one that put you into any problem you are trying to pray on.

Shouting when praying
Some people will just start shouting like people who are quarrelling with unrepentant conductor. I wonder why it is so. The last time I checked, MY GOD hears even the most silent prayer. So I ask, do you have to shout. Let's say you are talking to your biological father, you are making a request then you start shouting, like seriously, will even listen to you if he doesn't even give you a resounding slap.

Giving offering when message is on especially when Pastor is preaching
I don't know if it is bad oh, but all I know is that the BIBLE tells me something very clearly in two separate quotations that 1. There is time for everything and 2. let everything be done decently and in order.
So I don’t usually get it when the person is praying and you are going to give offering. Is the offering meant for God or the Pastor?
I think Ecclesiastes has something to say on this. Read chapter five and the first verse. It says something like, "Walk prudently when you go into the house of God; and draw near to hear rather than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they do evil".

How to Cure Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)

Today I shall talk about Attention Deficit Disorder hereinafter referred to as ADD. What it is and how to most probably cure the disorder. Attention Deficit Disorder is a state of disorderliness in management of engagements. It happens when one is not able to totally finish any task he undertakes.
There are many successful people out there and if you take time to study their past history, you’ll discover that one thing is evident in their success story – they undertook many failed businesses. At the end of such discovery, we hail them for that, having gone into several business ventures and failed.

Some of these person could have made it in the first business pursuit they entered but they could not because they set a time-frame for their success and when it seems their time has elapsed they back out and pursue other forms of enterprise. What happens to sticking around till you make it? It might be longer than the time you have set but no, you want it quicker and this eventually leads you to having Attention Deficit Disorder. When this happens to you, it means that you have lost #focus.

What it (ADD) entails;
The individual does things haphazardly and undertakes multiple engagements and tasks without completing any.

Short Story: Wahala X Palava

All hail Alphasoars . . .

Let us tell a short story today. Read below!
*****
Audu has not been himself lately. He has lost his job and the signals from his home drags him back every time he was about to retire to his house after each unfruitful day’s adventure. For the very past few weeks, his chain of meetings had yielded nothing new to him except for frustrations and ill lucks.
His wife, Halimattu, has also had her own fair share of the forgoing and ongoing frustrations. In fact, the previous two nights, they had gone in without food due to harsh decision by her neighbour who sells food stuffs but refused to lend her items to prepare for the evening meal pending Audu's return from his journeys.

Chief Okanta has been faithful in advising Audu about how to go through life happy, lively and free but had never giving him any financial assistance. Audu remembers him and decided to try his luck today. He already knew full well of what Okanta always offers - unending advise and counseling.

"I have heard you perfectly Audu. Our relationship has lasted these past years, and cannot be despised no matter what. I won't bore you with another series of counseling since your disposition shows that of a dying hungry man in front of a hungry lion". Chief Okanta said after listening to Audu's tales.

"Oka, please just help me" Audu pleaded.

"Just so simple a task, Audu and I shall shower you with all you'll want in riches." Okanta started, "I shall give you enough help as I could but are you ready to do just a simple thing for me?"

"Anything, Chief"

"Alright, I shall give you financial assistance based on the number of wealthy people you know and have made friends with"

"Chief, you are sounding childish a bit, am dying already and you know it"

Yet Again, ASUU strikes Nigerian Students!!!

All hail Alphasoars . . .

I nor dey happy at all at all. Just learnt in the news that our own very Academic Staff Union of Universities alias ASUU have gone on an indefinite strike. This according to the memo they released, is on the basis that the federal government has not been able to implement all agreement they reached in 2013 during the administration of the past government.

It is very painful to hear that in a country as Nigerians, none of her graduates will boast of a hitch, strike free four years of study in the higher institution.
Our resources, if harnessed are enough to take care of these issues that are always arising. I don't see a country that wants to succeed but won’t invest in the lives of the younger generations through education and providing opportunities for these ones to basic amenities for their self improvement.
